Rob Shimshock is a journalist and satirist in the Washington, D.C. area. He is currently an editor for Campus Reform, where he manages correspondents at colleges across the country to cover left-wing bias and abuse. He also serves as a columnist and video commentator at TheRebel.media, where he hosts the daily Campus Unmasked show and pens columns on culture, media, and technology.

Shimshock previously reported on education for The Daily Caller News Foundation and technology for Breitbart News. He also interned at the National Journalism Center and Charles Koch Institute.

Shimshock graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Media Studies. While at UVA, he worked as a print and video reporter, designed and scripted computer games, performed advocacy for the student judiciary, and delivered humiliating defeats to rivals of the table tennis C-team.

When he's not reporting or writing satirical detective short stories, Shimshock can be found playing classical and contemporary piano pieces. A video archive of his performances can be found here.
