Rob Shimshock is a journalist and satirist in the Washington, D.C. area, currently serving as Commentary Editor for CNSNews.com. He was named to The Washington Examiner's "30 Under 30" list, hosted the daily Campus Unmasked show on Rebel News' YouTube channel, and penned columns on culture, media, and technology for the outlet. He has also served as an editor for Campus Reform, managing correspondents at colleges across the country to cover bias and abuse on campus.

Shimshock previously reported on education for The Daily Caller News Foundation and technology for Breitbart News. He's also an alum of the National Journalism Center.

Shimshock graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Media Studies. While at UVA, he worked as a print and video reporter, designed and scripted computer games, performed advocacy for the student judiciary, and delivered humiliating defeats to rivals of the table tennis C-team.
